General
Can I talk to the dentist in English?
Yes. The director, Dr. Kang Jun-gu, consults in English and explains your diagnosis, options and fees before any treatment starts. You can also message us in English before your visit to ask questions or send photos.
What are the clinic's opening hours?
Monday to Friday 9:00–17:00 and Saturday 9:00–14:00. The clinic is closed on Sundays and Korean public holidays.
Where is the clinic?
On the 2nd floor (Units 217–218) of Gongdeok Prugio City, 156 Mapo-daero, Mapo-gu, Seoul, about a 5-minute walk north of Gongdeok Station (Exit 4) along Mapo-daero. Gongdeok is served by subway Lines 5 and 6, the Gyeongui–Jungang Line and the AREX airport railway.
How do I book an appointment?
Use the request form on this page, the online booking system or online chat, or call +82 2-3273-7528. We usually reply within 24 hours and confirm your time by your preferred contact method.
From abroad
How do I get to the clinic from Incheon Airport?
Take the AREX all-stop train from Incheon Airport directly to Gongdeok Station. The ride takes about one hour with no transfer, and the clinic is about a 5-minute walk from Exit 4.
Can you assess my case before I travel to Korea?
Yes. Send photos of your teeth, any recent X-rays and a short description by online chat or email. We reply with a preliminary assessment and treatment options so you can plan your trip. The final plan is confirmed after an in-person examination.
Can I finish treatment during a short trip?
Often, yes. Check-ups, cleaning, whitening and bonding take one visit, and same-day crowns and inlays are made in the clinic in a single appointment. Veneers need about a week. Implants usually need two trips, because the bone needs 2–4 months to heal before the final crown.
What happens if I need help after I go home?
We stay available by email and video consultation for follow-up questions and recovery checks after you leave Korea.
I have a toothache. Can I be seen today?
Usually, yes, if you contact us during opening hours. Send a photo and a short description by online chat and we'll tell you the earliest time we can see you. If swelling spreads to your eye or neck, or you have trouble breathing or a high fever, call 119.
Treatments
What is a 3D navigation implant?
It is an implant placed with computer guidance. The position is planned on a 3D CT scan and digital impression, and a printed guide transfers that plan to surgery. This allows smaller incisions, less pain and swelling, and a faster recovery than freehand placement.
How is a same-day crown made?
The prepared tooth is scanned digitally, the crown is designed on screen, milled from a ceramic block in the clinic and bonded in the same appointment. You do not need a temporary crown or a second visit.
How do you treat jaw pain and TMJ disorders?
The cause is first diagnosed with digital imaging and a functional examination. Treatment combines medication, physical therapy, Botox, PDRN injections and a digitally designed splint, depending on your case. Most options are non-surgical.
Can I get teeth whitening during a short trip?
Yes. In-office whitening takes one visit of about 60–90 minutes. We check your enamel and sensitivity first and give you aftercare tips for coffee, tea and strongly coloured food for the next couple of days.
Fees
Will you recommend treatment I don't need?
No. We explain what needs attention now, what can wait until you're home, and the fee for each option before anything starts. Nothing is added without your agreement.
How much does treatment cost without Korean health insurance?
Reference fees for patients without Korean National Health Insurance are listed in the price list on this page. Your final fee is confirmed after examination. Send us your case before you travel for a written estimate.
By treatment
Teeth whitening
How much is teeth whitening?
In-office whitening is ₩250,000 including VAT when you book online (regular fee ₩275,000). A check-up, scaling and whitening package in one visit is ₩330,000 online.
How long do whitening results last?
It depends on diet and habits. Many people keep a noticeably brighter shade for months, and touch-ups can extend it. Smoking and dark drinks shorten it.
Is teeth whitening covered by insurance?
No. Whitening is cosmetic, so Korean National Health Insurance does not cover it and 10% VAT applies. Most travel insurance doesn't cover it either.
Can I whiten if I have crowns or veneers on my front teeth?
Whitening only lightens natural teeth. Crowns, veneers and fillings keep their colour, so we check whether the result would look even before you decide.
Can I have scaling and whitening on the same trip?
Yes. Scaling first, then whitening on the same day or a later day, is a common combination for a few days in Seoul.
Check-up & general treatment
How much does a check-up cost?
Without Korean insurance, a consultation and examination with the director is ₩27,000 when booked online (regular ₩30,000). A panoramic X-ray is ₩18,000 and a 3D CT ₩55,000, only if needed.
Do I need Korean health insurance?
No. Visitors pay the fee directly. Foreign residents enrolled in Korean National Health Insurance may have part of the cost covered. We confirm fees before treatment.
Will I need an X-ray?
Only if it helps the diagnosis. We tell you before taking an X-ray or 3D scan.
Can I get my records to take home?
Yes. Ask for copies of your X-rays and treatment notes and we'll prepare them for your dentist at home.
Can I book a check-up and scaling together?
Yes. Many patients have a check-up and scaling on the same day.

Scaling & cleaning
How much is scaling without Korean insurance?
Scaling is ₩55,000 when booked online (regular ₩60,000). Check-up, scaling and whitening together in one visit is ₩330,000 online.
Does scaling hurt?
Most people feel vibration and some sensitivity rather than pain. Tell us if it's uncomfortable and we slow down or numb the area.
Is scaling bad for my teeth?
No. Ultrasonic scaling removes tartar without wearing away enamel. Teeth can feel different afterwards because the tartar that covered them is gone.
Should I have scaling before whitening?
Yes, it helps. Cleaning first removes tartar and surface stains so the whitening gel works more evenly.
Can I eat normally after scaling?
Yes. If your teeth feel sensitive, avoid very hot or very cold food for a day.

Dental emergency
How much does emergency dental care cost?
It depends on what you need. An examination is ₩27,000 and a panoramic X-ray ₩18,000 when booked online. Bonding a chipped tooth starts at ₩75,000 and a same-day crown is ₩520,000. We confirm the fee before treatment.
Can I be seen today?
Usually, yes, if you contact us during opening hours. Send a photo by chat and we'll tell you the earliest time we can see you.
Will my travel insurance pay?
Many policies cover emergency dental treatment for sudden pain. Keep your receipt and ask us for the documents your insurer needs.
Can you fix a broken tooth in one visit?
Often, yes. Small chips can be bonded the same day, and a same-day ceramic crown can be made in the clinic in one appointment.
Are you open on Sundays?
No. The clinic is closed on Sundays and Korean public holidays. Leave a chat message, call the 1330 helpline, or go to a hospital emergency room if it is severe.
Same-day crowns & inlays
How much is a same-day crown?
A same-day ceramic crown is ₩520,000 per tooth when you book online (regular ₩550,000). A same-day inlay or onlay is ₩330,000 (regular ₩350,000), and composite bonding starts at ₩75,000. The fee is confirmed after the examination.
Is a same-day crown as strong as a lab-made one?
Milled ceramic is strong enough for everyday chewing on most teeth. How long it lasts depends on your bite, habits and oral hygiene. We tell you if your case is better suited to a lab-made crown.
Does it hurt?
The tooth is numbed with a local anaesthetic, so most people feel pressure rather than pain. The tooth can feel a little sensitive for a few days afterwards.
Do I need a root canal first?
Not usually. Root canal treatment is needed only if the nerve is infected or badly damaged, which the examination and X-ray show. We explain this before any treatment.
Can I fly the next day?
Yes. The restoration is bonded before you leave, so there is nothing temporary to come loose on the flight.

Dental implants
How much does a dental implant cost?
A 3D navigation implant including the crown starts at ₩1,230,000 when you book online (regular ₩1,300,000). Bone grafting, if needed, starts at ₩280,000, and a 3D CT is ₩55,000. The fee is confirmed after the CT scan.
Can I get an implant in one trip?
Usually not. The bone needs about 2–4 months to bond with the implant before the final crown goes on. In some cases a temporary tooth can be fitted at the first visit, which we confirm after the CT scan.
Is implant surgery painful?
Placement is done under local anaesthetic, so you should feel pressure rather than pain. Mild swelling and soreness for a few days is common and usually eased with ordinary painkillers.
What if there is a problem after I go home?
Contact us by email or chat. We can review photos and X-rays from your local dentist, and the records we give you help any dentist continue your care.
Will my home dentist know which implant I have?
Yes. We give you the implant system and part details in writing, so a dentist in your home country can identify them later.
Veneers & cosmetic dentistry
How much do veneers cost?
A minimal-prep porcelain veneer is ₩820,000 per tooth including VAT when you book online (regular ₩880,000). White spot treatment is ₩150,000 per tooth and in-office whitening ₩250,000, both including VAT.
How long do porcelain veneers last?
With good care, many last ten years or more. Grinding, biting hard objects and gum problems shorten their life.
Do my teeth need to be filed down?
Often very little or not at all. It depends on the position and colour of your teeth, which we check at the examination.
Can I whiten my teeth after veneers?
Whitening doesn't change the colour of veneers. If you want whiter teeth overall, whiten first and match the veneers to the new shade.
What is white spot treatment?
It treats chalky white marks in the enamel so the tooth colour looks more even, usually without drilling. It is often combined with whitening.

TMJ & night guards
How much does TMJ treatment cost?
A TMJ examination is ₩45,000 when you book online (regular ₩50,000), and an occlusal splint (night guard) designed from a 3D scan is ₩370,000 (regular ₩400,000). The cost of therapy depends on your plan, which we confirm before starting.
Will TMJ pain go away on its own?
Mild symptoms often settle with rest, soft food and less clenching. If pain, locking or limited opening lasts more than a few weeks, a proper examination is worthwhile.
Is a night guard the same as a sports mouthguard?
No. A night guard is a hard splint fitted precisely to your bite. Soft guards sold over the counter can sometimes make clenching worse.
Do you do jaw surgery?
No. Our treatment is non-surgical. If your case needs surgery, we explain why and refer you to a hospital specialist.
How many visits does TMJ treatment take?
Diagnosis is on the first day. Some therapies are repeated over several weeks, so we plan what can be done during your stay and what can continue at home.

Is there a VAT refund for tourists on cosmetic dental treatment?
No. The VAT refund for foreign patients' cosmetic treatment ended on 31 December 2025, so the prices shown are what you pay, with VAT included.
Do foreigners pay a different price?
No. The fees on this page are the clinic's posted fees and apply to every patient paying without Korean health insurance.
Can I get a quote before I travel?
Yes. Send photos, any recent X-rays and a short description by chat or email, and we reply with likely options and fees. The final fee is confirmed after the examination.
Will my travel insurance pay?
Many travel policies cover emergency treatment for sudden dental pain, but not cosmetic treatment. Keep your receipt and ask us for any documents your insurer needs.
