Quick answer
Yes, you can have a dental implant in Seoul, but plan for two trips. At the first visit the implant is placed through a surgical guide printed from your 3D CT scan and digital impression. The bone then needs about 2–4 months to heal before the final crown is fitted at the second visit. Whether you need bone grafting is decided from the CT scan.
How guided placement works
The implant position is planned on your 3D CT scan and a digital impression, taking the bone, nerves and the final tooth position into account. A surgical guide is printed from that plan and used during placement. Guided placement usually needs a smaller opening in the gum than freehand surgery, which can mean less swelling afterwards.
Planning around your trips
- First trip: examination, 3D CT, planning and implant placement
- Between trips: about 2–4 months of healing at home, with follow-up by email or video
- Second trip: the final crown is scanned, made and fitted
- If bone grafting is needed, healing can take longer, and we tell you before you book flights

Questions patients ask
How much does a dental implant cost?
A 3D navigation implant including the crown starts at ₩1,230,000 when you book online (regular ₩1,300,000). Bone grafting, if needed, starts at ₩280,000, and a 3D CT is ₩55,000. The fee is confirmed after the CT scan.
Can I get an implant in one trip?
Usually not. The bone needs about 2–4 months to bond with the implant before the final crown goes on. In some cases a temporary tooth can be fitted at the first visit, which we confirm after the CT scan.
Is implant surgery painful?
Placement is done under local anaesthetic, so you should feel pressure rather than pain. Mild swelling and soreness for a few days is common and usually eased with ordinary painkillers.
What if there is a problem after I go home?
Contact us by email or chat. We can review photos and X-rays from your local dentist, and the records we give you help any dentist continue your care.
Will my home dentist know which implant I have?
Yes. We give you the implant system and part details in writing, so a dentist in your home country can identify them later.
