Quick answer
At our Gongdeok clinic, cosmetic treatment ranges from in-office whitening in one visit to minimal-prep porcelain veneers, which take about a week. We plan for a natural result rather than an overdone one, and we remove as little tooth as possible. Cosmetic treatment is not covered by insurance, and 10% VAT is already included in the fees shown.
What we offer
- Minimal-prep or no-prep porcelain veneers for chipped, worn or discoloured front teeth
- White spot treatment to even out chalky marks on enamel
- In-office whitening in one visit
- Composite bonding for small chips and gaps
How a veneer trip runs
- Day 1: examination, photos and a digital smile plan, agreeing the shape and shade with you
- Preparation, often minimal, and a digital scan
- The veneers are made, then tried in and bonded about a week later
- A final check of your bite before you leave
Keeping it natural
We match shape and shade to your face and your other teeth. If whitening first would give a better match, we suggest it. If only a few teeth need work, we don't recommend veneering the whole smile.
When veneers aren't the answer
Veneers need healthy gums and enough enamel to bond to. Heavy grinding can chip them, so we may suggest a night guard. Sometimes whitening or bonding gives the result you want with less treatment, and we tell you so.
Consultations are in English or Korean.
Questions patients ask
How much do veneers cost?
A minimal-prep porcelain veneer is ₩820,000 per tooth including VAT when you book online (regular ₩880,000). White spot treatment is ₩150,000 per tooth and in-office whitening ₩250,000, both including VAT.
How long do porcelain veneers last?
With good care, many last ten years or more. Grinding, biting hard objects and gum problems shorten their life.
Do my teeth need to be filed down?
Often very little or not at all. It depends on the position and colour of your teeth, which we check at the examination.
Can I whiten my teeth after veneers?
Whitening doesn't change the colour of veneers. If you want whiter teeth overall, whiten first and match the veneers to the new shade.
What is white spot treatment?
It treats chalky white marks in the enamel so the tooth colour looks more even, usually without drilling. It is often combined with whitening.
