Travel tips

Incheon Airport to Gongdeok by AREX: the easy route to our clinic

Which AREX train to take, how to pay, which exit to use at Gongdeok and how long the whole trip takes.

Quick answer

Take the AREX all-stop train (not the Express) from Incheon Airport to Gongdeok Station, about an hour with no transfer. Pay with a T-money card or a contactless card where accepted. From Exit 4, the clinic is about a 5-minute walk north along Mapo-daero.

Choose the all-stop train

AREX runs two services. The Express goes non-stop to Seoul Station and does not stop at Gongdeok. The all-stop (commuter) train stops at Gongdeok, so that's the one you want.

Paying for the ride

  • Buy or top up a T-money card at airport convenience stores
  • Tap in at the gate and tap out at Gongdeok
  • Keep the card for the subway and buses during your trip

At Gongdeok Station

Gongdeok is a large interchange for AREX, Lines 5 and 6 and the Gyeongui–Jungang Line. Follow the signs to Exit 4, then walk north along Mapo-daero for about five minutes. The clinic is on the 2nd floor of Gongdeok Prugio City.
